Evolution Graduate Program

Our Graduate program is designed to further build and instil these key mining priorities and values into you, setting you up to be a future leader within the industry. The program will focus on maximising your development to build on key competencies relevant to your field that can be utilised throughout your career. Through this we strive to ensure that your time here at Evolution will be a career highlight.
Application Process
Decide what role/s to apply for
Your interests, skills and career goals should align with the requirements of your chosen role. If you are in your penultimate year of study, you are best suited to our Summer Vacation Program .
- Apply Online
Click through to the position’s online application form. You will need to complete some questions and attach a number of documents, including:
- Your CV – showcase your previous work experience, extra-curricular activities, academic history, volunteer experience and any other qualifications – we’re looking for future leaders, so anything that demonstrates your motivation, proactivity and interest in your chosen discipline will go a long way!
- A cover letter – tell us about yourself, which specific discipline you are passionate about and where you see your career developing. Remember to proofread for typos!
- Your Academic Record.
Screening call
Should your application progress to the next stage, you will receive a phone call from one of our team to discuss your experience and interest in our Graduate Program in more detail.
Be prepared to discuss why you are interested in Evolution.
- Psychometric testing
Candidates who progress to this stage will be asked to complete a Saville Wave psychometric assessment.
Be prepared to dedicate 60 – 90 minutes to complete aptitude and behavioural testing online
- Assessment Centre
You will be asked to attend a virtual or face to face assessment centre to complete group activities and be observed by a panel made up of leaders across the business.
- Interview
If all goes well, you will be invited to an interview with one or more members of the team that you have applied to. Come prepared to answer a variety of questions, and don’t be afraid to ask us some too!
- Offer
Once interviews have been completed, our team will be in touch via a phone call with the outcome of your application. If you are successful, we will provide a conditional offer pending pre-employment checks.
- Onboarding
Your Evolution employee experience commences prior to starting with us. You will be asked to complete onboarding documents. If your role is site-based, you will be required to complete a PPE request form and relevant site-based inductions prior to commencement.
If relevant to your role, travel arrangements will be confirmed at this stage. 1 week before start
Your manager will contact you to confirm Day 1 arrangements including site or office access.
