Management Trainee - Finance

The Programme

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join our Finance Management Trainee program, a comprehensive 2-year initiative designed to provide hands-on experience and rotational exposure to various departments within our finance division.  
 
This program offers a unique opportunity to develop a deep understanding of financial management practices, policies, and operations within Minor Group. 

What You Will Do

  • Completing assigned tasks and projects related to financial management.  
  • Assisting in day-to-day financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.  
  • Participating in meetings, workshops, and training sessions to learn about financial processes and systems.  
  • Observing and learning from experienced finance professionals to understand best practices and industry standards.  
  • Gaining knowledge of company financial policies, protocols, and compliance requirements.  
  • Taking detailed notes during training sessions and meetings with supervisors and senior finance staff.  
  • Assisting in the preparation of financial reports, presentations, and documentation as needed.  
  • Learning about financial systems and tools used for data analysis and reporting.  
  • Supporting the finance team in various tasks and projects to improve financial processes and efficiency.  
  • Following all company regulations, financial guidelines, and compliance standards.  
  • Participating in financial audits and reviews under the guidance of senior finance staff. 

Required Skills and Abilities

  • Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, MBA, Economics, or a related field.  
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.  
  • Fluent command of English, with additional language proficiency a plus.  
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel for financial analysis.  
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.  
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial calculations and data analysis.  
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.  
  • Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and willingness to take on new challenges.  
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
