Corporate Support Engineer Internship

The Programme

Corporate Support Engineer - Interns will help to support systems and technologies that advance workplace productivity throughout FactSet organisation.

What You Will Do

  • Responsibility of the Corporate Support Engineer – Interns includes supporting and deploying computing systems, providing end-user support and training, proactively promoting computing best practices and maintain IT equipment inventories are up to date.
  • Interns will work closely with other CSS engineers to handle day-to-day activities, making use of tracking and monitoring tools, such as the Incidents Database and maintenance of knowledge-based documentation and procedures.
  • A successful candidate for this role is expected to gain basic knowledge on project management, basic networking design and be able to understand IT procurement and disposal processes.

Required Skills and Abilities

  • Knowledge of Windows 2012/ 2016 Server Administration, Citrix Client and Plugins/ XenApp 7.0 or higher, and other Microsoft products.
  • Familiarity with Cisco networking devices and concepts.
  • Knowledgeable of Information system technologies and computer security and best practices.
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical and organisation skills.
  • Self-directed and able to work without supervision.
  • Ability to work in a team-centric environment.
  • Desire to learn.
  • Communicate clearly and concisely, both written and in verbal communication.
