Inflight Technical Support Assistant

What You Will Do 

Device Handling:   

  • Manage the daily collection, return, and inventory of operational devices.  
  • Ensure devices are prepared and available for use at the start of each shift.   

Maintenance and Charging:  

  •  Oversee device charging to ensure readiness for use.  
  • Conduct routine cleaning and basic maintenance to maintain device functionality.   

Troubleshooting: 

  • Identify and address minor technical issues promptly.   
  • Escalate unresolved issues to the technical support team when necessary.   

Software Updates and Configuration:  

  • Perform routine software updates and ensure devices are properly configured.   

Documentation and Reporting:   

  • Maintain accurate records of device usage, status, and troubleshooting activities.   
  • Provide regular reports on device performance and operational issues.   

Required Skills and Abilities 

  •  Minimum SPM or equivalent.  
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; prior experience in inventory or device management is a plus.   

Skills and Competencies:  

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.   
  • Basic technical aptitude to perform troubleshooting and updates (training provided).  
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.   

Personal Attributes: 

  • Punctual, reliable, and detail oriented.   
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.  
  • Willingness to work on a rotating shift schedule, including night shifts, weekends, and public holidays.   

Other Requirements: 

  • Physically capable of handling and organizing multiple devices as required.   
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar inventory-tracking tools is an advantage.
